Contest Factory designed and implemented the contest/sweepstakes site that fully integrated contest submissions, fan voting, social share of submission, moderation module, and real-time performance tracking of the promotion. During the submission phase contestants had the option to submit either a video or photo and essay as many times as they want. Based on sponsor’s requirement the system was automated to only accept videos that were not more than 90 seconds and photo-essays that did not exceed 300 words.
To account for the potentially large number of submissions and to adhere to sponsor’s strict quality control requirements, Contest Factory was tasked to provide a team of moderators to review each submission before they were published on the site for the public to vote. Selection of winners including daily, grand prize and fan voter was fulfilled using Contest Factory’s automated sweepstakes winner selection module.
To monitor the promotion site’s performance, Contest Factory’s Viral DNA analytics software provided Collette real-time access to number of registrations, submissions, social media engagements, fan votes, survey responses and more.
The promotion garnered thousands of participants from Australia, Canada, United Kingdom and United States and the moving reasons why they travel. Collette was deeply touched by the stories and in their words expressed gratitude: “they made us cry, they made us laugh, they inspired us”. Collette 100 Days of Giveaways was a tremendous success and we look forward to working again with them again in the near future.
